With the weather starting to improve, we have some fun and creative workshops here at the Dam.
Our next workshop will be held on March 24th by Alice Thomas, who will be showing you how to make a macrame plant hanger. Alice is a macrame wizard and you will soon have a perfect plant hanger under her tuition. The workshop will include all the materials and tools you need to create your plant hanger as well as a lunch provided by the Caffi. The day will be quite relaxed and is a great way to learn something new or simply find yourself a creative outlet.
Following this we have a print-making workshop on April 9th by local artist Amy Sterly. Amy will demonstrate techniques used in dry point printmaking. She will take you through each step so you can easily create your own images. All materials and tools will be provided as well as lunch and refreshments from Caffi Clywedog. Why not learn this new technique, or brush up your existing skills?
Both of these workshops can be booked online through Eventbrite.
