Welcome to our brand new blog!
We're a small team, based in a beautiful location in mid-Wales which overlooks the Clywedog Reservoir. The cafe was unused and empty before it's most recent managers decided to take it on, revamp it and open it back up to the public.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we've worked hard to keep hospitality venues going here in Wales, and we're glad to say that our outdoor seating area is now open.

We serve delicious, plant-based food alongside a range of cool drinks, teas and coffees. Join us for a slice of cake, or our home-made flapjack.
We also have a range of delicious ice-creams which are made in Wales. We also serve special ice-cream for dogs too called 'Utterly Mutterly!'.
Did you know?
100% of ingredients are plant-based, and we are as environmentally friendly as possible. We ethically source fruit and vegetables from local suppliers where we can.
Today, the cafe is once more a thriving hub for the community. We are proud to support the work of a not-for-profit charity, Radiate Arts, who host creative workshops which are open to everyone. Whether you want to learn a new skill, or are someone who thinks art would benefit their mental and physical well-being, please get in touch with them here. Radiate Arts also run social prescribing workshops, to support those in the surrounding area. This includes, ex-servicemen and women with severe PTSD, the elderly experiencing loneliness and individuals of all ages with anxiety and depression.

As well as our upstairs seating area, we also have an outdoor terrace, and downstairs picnic-bench area. We welcome (well behaved!) dogs, and provide a drinking bowl and water for them to keep them hydrated.
